On the care label, we recommend dry cleaning for all our garments.
Our silk printing is of very high quality and the garments can we hand washed.
Please note that if you decide to hand wash, you will be doing so at your own risk as we cannot be responsible for how you carry out the hand wash. Please read the steps below to tell you more about the washing process.
Please wash at low temperatures in Tepid water. do not rub or squeeze the garment at any point, as the fabric could loose its lustre
Water temperature should be at around 30C degrees; at 40C, colours are already likely to run
Add a small amount of gentle soap instead of washing powder; we recommend Persil Wool & silk wash, for example
Soak the garment for a few minutes; do not leave it soaking for too long as the colours could Run or the fabric could loose its lustre
gently dip the garment in and out of water to get the soiling out
When the garment appears to be fresh, do not squeeze the water out, but place it gently on a hanger and hand out to dry above a bath or a container where the water can drip
The silk dries quickly & the garment could be dry within a couple of hours. We recommend that you wait until it’s almost dry and steam or iron from inside out to get rid of any creases.
